Back from a very long vacation
I put on some pounds because when I go on vacation, I eat like crap. Now, I'm fatter than before.
Oh well, I guess I'll have more fun taking it all off.

Today's workout
12:00 man maker (Buy Pavel's book to find out what that is) with the 1.5 pood kettlebell. I worked with one-arm swings, and even though the numbers weren't through the roof, my heart rate was.
First Post
Before we begin with too much here, you must first know a little bit about myself.
I've been battling my weight for a while now; basically because I don't have a lot of discipline.
For example, I ate two brownies yesterday and a bunch of junk food this morning before going to sleep. I blame the junk food this morning to the fact that there isn't a damn thing to eat around the house as my wife doesn't do much shopping before going on vacation and we're going to Boston soon.
Anyway, I did at one time go from 240ish to 178 in about eight months. I fought in the 2005 Arizona Police Games in the boxing event.
Later, I ballooned right back up to 215, where I'm at right now, even though I've been working out very consistently and I practice Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
I've been working out with Kettlebells for about three years now and while the results have been great for my conditioning, my fat loss hasn't been there.
Well, a good friend of mine bought me Pavel's newest book about Kettlebells, titled Enter the Kettlebell and while I haven't lost a lot of weight yet, I feel a lot of the difference already. I wasn't doing high repetition cardio movements like the swing. Believe it or not, that movement is great for one's cardio.
So now, we're going to see where this takes me. I will probably not post video or photos up until I get back from Boston.
